Accessibility Statement

We are working to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA. That standard covers, among other things, text contrast, keyboard operation, the ability to stop moving content, and code that assistive technology can interpret.

This site is partially conformant with WCAG 2.1 Level AA, and we are actively remediating the gaps. Partially conformant means most of the site meets the standard, but some content does not yet.

Known limitations we are still working through: the desktop catalog uses a horizontal, scroll-driven shelf, and although it is keyboard operable and is replaced by a simpler carousel for visitors who ask for reduced motion, it is harder to navigate than a plain list. Some decorative rules and dividers sit below the 3:1 contrast used for meaningful graphics; they carry no information, but they can be hard to see.

The site can be operated by keyboard alone, with a visible focus indicator and a “skip to content” link at the top of every page. It honors the operating system’s reduced-motion, reduced-transparency, and increased-contrast settings. Images that carry meaning have text alternatives, form fields have real labels, and errors are announced rather than only shown.

Motion that starts on its own also has a control in the page itself, not only in your system settings: the looping scroll cue at the foot of the home page’s opening screen carries a pause button you can reach with the keyboard, and it stays paused until you start it again.

We aim to acknowledge every accessibility report within five business days and to tell you either what we have changed or when we expect to. If we cannot fix something quickly, we will offer another way to get you the same information.

We evaluate this site ourselves, combining automated checks with manual keyboard and screen-reader testing and contrast measurement against the WCAG formula. We have not commissioned a third-party audit, and we do not claim full conformance.
